James Turner Obituary

James W. Turner, 77, Indianapolis passed from this world on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1941 to Oren and Elvia (King) Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Elvia (King) Turner, brother Willie Turner.

He is survived by loving wife Lois A. (Conatser) Turner, daughter Kay (Gary) Hunter, brother Willis Turner, sisters Olene Smith, Wanda Savage, 3 grandchildren Nathan (Katlyn) Hunter, Angelia (John) Hicks, David (Jennifer) Hunter, 3 great grandchildren Daniel Hicks, Ben Hunter, Logan Hunter, and many extended family and friends.

He is loved and greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 8, 2019 from 10 am to 12pm, service 12 pm, at First Separate Baptist in Christ Church of Indianapolis, 25 Bixler Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227

Celebration of Life will be held at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, TN on Sunday June 9, 2019 at 12 P.M., with the family receiving friends from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M.

Burial will be at Wright Chapel Cemetery, Jamestown, TN.
