Allene Smith Conner Obituary

Allene Conner, 86, of Hayesville passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Alfred and Ireelic Smith. Allene was a homemaker. She had moved here in 1985 from Munice, Indiana. Allene was a long-standing member of "Young at Heart" and enjoyed line dancing and exercise groups.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Smith, and Charles Smith: and three sisters, Ruby Muncey, Grace Clonan, and Ruth Neely.

Surviving is her husband, Charles "Chuck" Conner, and a daughter Lisa Conner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday December 28, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Hayesville with Pastor David Feathers and Richard Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the services.

Grave side service will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Scroggins Cemetery.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Hayesville, NC and Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, TN in charge of arrangements.
