Passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her home

Christine was a loving and kind person who reflected the love of Jesus Christ to everyone she met. Her smile would light up a room and she made everyone feel special. She was an amazing homemaker who could sew anything, and a fantastic cook known for her delicious peanut butter fudge. Her loving and gentle spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of each person lucky enough to have known her.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 1 P.M. at the Grimsley United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Grimsley United Methodist Church

She is survived by:

Husband of almost 68 years: Dewey Cook

Son: Ricky Cook

Daughter: Karen Emmert and husband Jim

Grandchildren: Valen Downing and husband Danny, Calley Potter and husband Jordon, & Jay Emmert and wife Brittnee

Great-Grandchildren: Harley Christine, Hazley, & Brett Potter and Bennett Ruth Emmert

Special friend to the family: Cindy Lee

She was preceded in death by:

Parents: Dewey and Tine Cooper

Sisters: Roselle Miller, Ruby Ricketts, Reecie Cook, and Rillie Phillips Young
