Passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 10 A.M. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, with burial to follow in the Allardt Cemetery. Military honors will be provided at the graveside be American Legion Post 137

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 5 P.M. – 8 P.M. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown

He is survived by:

Wife: Nancy Gernt

Children: Ann Cravens and husband Stanley, Alton Gernt, & Donnette Wilson and husband Tommy

11 Grandchildren & 12 Great-Grandchildren

Brother: Richard Gernt

Sister-in-law: Lowanda Gernt

He was preceded in death by:

Daughter: Paula Powell

Parents: Walter and Flossie Gernt

Sister: Doris Cowan

Brothers: Charles Gernt and Phillip Gernt

Sister-in-law: Wilda Gernt
