Beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, Florence Muha, went home to be with the angels on Feb. 25, 2024 with her family by her side.
Florence grew up in Floyd, NY and graduated from Oriskany High School.
Family was everything to Florence. She married the love of her life, David Muha, in 1976 in Boonville. They cherished their time together and the life they built together. They enjoyed traveling and ended up in TN after they retired, which she truly enjoyed.
For a number of years, she worked a number of different jobs for the DDSO, retiring in 2012. She was close to her siblings; Phylis, Linda, Michele, Mike, Nick, and Priscilla, as well as their families.
Florence is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David; Son, Doug Shaffer and wife Brenda; their children, Dalton and MacKenzie Shaffer; Daughter, Andrea Battles and husband Mike; their children, Samantha Gilbert, Andrew Gilbert, and Kendra Battles. Great-Grandson, Waylon Gilbert; Son, Mike Muha and wife Sonya; their son Nicolas. Daughter, Cheryl Young; her children Michael, Ethan, Keltsey, and Mason. Florence was preceded in death by her grandson, Stephan Young. She had a special place in her heart for Vinnie and Amanda Gilbert.
