Freamon Issac Garrett age 90 of Allardt passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at home with his family by his bedside.
Freamon was born February 27, 1930 in Honey Creek, Tennessee. He was a lifelong member of the IBEW Electrical Union in which he was employed for over thirty years. Freamon loved to tell stories about his childhood which we found amazing that he survived some of the events he lived through. You could always find him under the hood of an old car tinkering to fix this or that even it didn’t need fixing to begin with. Freamon was a deacon for many years of his life most recently at Black Creek Cross Roads Baptist Church. He loved his family especially his grandkids and great grandkids his eyes would light up when they came for a visit. He loved the Lord the most and never missed the chance to tell others about what his God could do for others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Freamon is survived by the love of his life, his wife Ina (Frogge) Garrett whom he had been married to for 70 years.
Other survivors include sons Roger Garrett and wife Bonnie, Gary Garrett and wife Debbie, and Stanley Garrett. Daughters Sharon Smith and husband Darrel, Rhilda Gastineau and husband Mark, and Rebecca Garrett and fiance Anthony Beaty.
