Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 6 P.M. at Unity Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 5 P.M. – 6 P.M. at Unity Baptist Church

He is survived by:

Wife of 36 years: Bettye Copeland Wheaton

Daughter: Katie Beth Draughn and partner Derrick Brannam

Grandchildren: Bryson Draughn, Bryhanna Draughn, Joseph Draughn, and Dakota Draughn

Brother: Johnny Wheaton and wife Maggie

Aunt: Betty Lou Beaty (Colditz)

Brothers-in-law: Ronald Copeland and wife Kaye, John Copeland and wife Patricia, & Robin Copeland

Sister-in-law: Sue Copeland

Special Nieces: Karen Copeland Albertson & Lydia Albertson

Father of his grandchildren: Adam Draughn
