Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 1 P.M. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, with burial to follow in the Wright Chapel Cemetery

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown

He is survived by:

Brother: Moses Woodson and wife Mary & Clint Woodson and wife Angie

Sisters: Catherine Venable and husband Billie & Edie Margaret Hogan

Children: Greg Woodson, Wendy Sims, Edward Woodson, John Boy, Lachelle, Tabitha, Lou, John Leslie Woodson; and daughters Dorcas Hudson and Josie Young (adopted by Henry and Georgett Bledsoe)

A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: George W. Woodson and Dorcas Tabitha Fox Woodson

Daughter: Roxanne Woodson

Sisters: Adelaide Voll and Georgett Bledsoe

Brother: William Earl Woodson
