Joyce Lee Fry, age 89, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home in Collegedale,
Tennessee. She was born 19 minutes after her twin on December 13, 1930, in Oak Park, Illinois,
the daughter of Orville and Agnes Little. On June 5, 1955 Joyce married James Arthur Fry,
(1930-2013.) They were married for 58 years. Joyce spent her life caring for others. She was an
LPN and worked as a private duty nurse. Joyce also managed a nursing registry in the Chicago,
Illinois area. After retirement she and her husband lived in Deer Lodge, Tennessee for many
years. She has currently been residing in Collegedale, Tennessee.
Surviving family are one sister, Mary Alyce Wyant, one brother-in-law, Harold Kuebler, five
nieces and one nephew, twelve grand-nieces and nephews, and eight great-grand nieces and
nephews. Joyce was dearly loved and is missed but her family is thankful for the blessings of the
beautiful life she lived. Preceding her in death are her husband James Fry, her twin Janet Kuebler
and one nephew.
The Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown is in charge of arrangements for Joyce Fry. She will be
buried in the Meister Church Memorial Cemetery in Deer Lodge, Tennessee. A memorial will be
held at a future date.
