Lora Nicklow Obituary

Lora Rae (Atkinson) Nicklow, age 57, peacefully departed this earth to her heavenly home on March 21, 2020 at home.

She attended Revolution Church in Crossville TN and grew up as a member of Springs Chapel Methodist Church. Lora served in the Navy for 4 years, then in the Navy Reserve for 16 years as a Cryptologic Technician retiring with the rank of Lieutenant.  She obtained her EDS degree from TN TECH. University. She was the Director of School at Eckerd Youth Alternatives school and then guidance counselor at YAI until she retired. Lora loved working in church and leading young people to adulthood. Her hobbies included fitness, basketball, and gardening.

Lora and Joel Nicklow met while they both served in the Navy and reconnected and married 30 years later in 2016. Their time together was filled with love and many  wonderful memories.
