Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Spring Chapel Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Spring Chapel Cemetery

Family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11 A.M. – 2 P.M. at Spring Chapel Methodist Church

Lorena was a member of Spring Chapel Methodist Church and professed her faith at a very young age. She worked as an X-Ray and Laboratory Technologist for 42 years. She was the matriarch of a family of 6 generations.

She is survived by:

Children: Brenda Ramsey, Rosemary Hixon, Jerl Beaty, and Jeff Beaty and wife Rhonda

10 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, 29 Great-Great Grandchildren, & 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild

She was preceded in death by:

1st Husband: Joel Beaty

2nd Husband: Floyd Ford

Parents: Menzo and Medie Norris Atkinson

Infant daughter: Roena Faye Beaty

Brothers: Audes Atkinson and wife Lena, Clifford Atkinson and wife Georgia, Lonzo Atkinson, Denton Atkinson and wife Lois

Sisters: Pansy Mackelburg and husband Helmuth, Ganette Moreland and husband Bill, & Lucy Olmstead and husband JC

Son-in-law: Willard Ramsey
