Mrs. Mary Katherine Smith

Age: 76 of the Rinnie Community

Passed away on Friday, October 18 at her home.

Mary was a loving mother, nanny, aunt, and friend to many. She always had a desire to help others, especially children. She spent 20 years on the Cumberland County Board of Education trying to do that very thing.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 2 P.M. at Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange, with burial to follow in the Rinnie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of the service at 2 P.M.

She is survived by:

Sons: Mike Smith and wife Leslie & Mark Smith and wife Misty

Grandchildren: Lane Smith and wife Isabel, Emery Smith, Anna Smith, Ellie Smith, Mason Smith, & Skyler Campbell

Special Niece: Kathy Shelton

A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends

She was preceded in death by:

Husband: Steve Smith

Parents: Arthur and Stella Matthews

Brothers: Gene, Horace, and Ralph Matthews

Sister: June Vandevender
