Passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Fentress County

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of the service at 1 PM.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Patricia Brewer

Son: Ronnie Peek and wife Jody

Sister: Evelyn Gaye Cooper

5 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-great-grandchild

A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends

She was preceded in death by:

Husband: Edward McGivern

Daughter: Alice Stafford

Parents: Frank and Lottie Melton

Brothers: Oscar and Paul Melton
