Rose Was born in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to Ernest M and Celia I (Meeker) Beane. She graduated from Gilman, Iowa High School in 1957.
In 1961 she graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree from Drake University Des Moines, Iowa. She taught in several Iowa school districts until she felt called to the ministry.
In 1980 she graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree from Eden Theological Seminary, Webster Grove, Missouri and was ordained as a Minister in the United Church of Christ.
She served in churches in DePue, Illinois; Lansing, Michigan; Granite City, Illinois; and Geneva, Iowa. In 2004, she retired to Uplands Village Senior Community, Pleasant Hill, Tennessee. From 2005 to 2021 she was the minister at Deer Lodge Congregational Church, Deer Lodge, Tennessee. Starting in 2021 she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church, Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.
Rose is survived by brothers Ernest of Bettendorf, Iowa and Ronald of Des Moines, Iowa. She is predeceased by her parents and brother Lawrence.
Graveside service will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, November 15, 2024 in the Pleasant Hill Memorial Park Cemetery
