Rose Mary Hixson

Rose Mary Hixson age 76 of Johnson City TN passed away to her heavenly home on June 21st 2024.

Rose Mary was born in Clarkrange TN to Joel and Lorena Beaty. She spent her early years surrounded by a loving family where she gained many wonderful childhood memories that she often relived with family and friends. Rose Mary then married and eventually relocated to Kingsport TN in 1968 where she gave birth to sons Keith and Scott. After relocating to Johnson City TN in 1974, she began persuingstudies at East TN State Univeristy where she eventually obtained her degree in Nursing. Rose Mary built a 30 year career as a Public Health Nurse at the Carter County Health Department. After retirement, she was able to spend more time with her four grandsons whom she loved dearly.

Rose Mary was a warm, intelligent and loving person who loved her family and pets. Left to cherish her memory are sons Keith Hixson (Tracy) and Scott Hixson (Rachael) and grandsons Lucas, Austin, Jonas and Roman Hixson. She is survived by her three siblings Brenda Ramsey, Jeff Beaty and Jerl Beaty.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11 A.M. in the Spring Chapel Cemetery (1050 Roslin Rd, Clarkrange, TN 38553). Immediately following, there will be a reception in the Spring Chapel Fellowship Hall, where all are welcome to celebrate her life and share memories.
