Mr. Thomas Howard Nunley
Passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024 at his home in Jamestown TN. He was born in Evarts KY in 1934 and raised in Highsplint, son of a coal miner. He was a true son of Kentucky and given the title of Kentucky Colonel. Received a Masters in Criminal Justice and worked as a Criminal Investigator in Alabama. Retired Korean war veteran with 22 years of military service as a naval flight engineer. Pastored numerous churches in Kentucky as well as in Coffman Cove Alaska.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 9 A.M. at Family-Funeral and Cremation in Pensacola, FL. Interment will immediately follow in Barrancas National Cemetery
He is survived by:
Children: Tommie Kay Nunley, Todd Nunley and wife Diane, Tara Thompson and husband Chris, Tracy Nunley-Chiupka and husband Alan, & Trent Nunley and wife Phaedra
Grandchildren: David Coleman, Cory Hatcher, Benjamin Nunley, Hailey Nunley, Delaney Nunley, Ava Nunley, Gabe Thompson, Jadon Thompson, Isaiah Thompson
Niece and nephews: Robin Nunley, Thomas Nunley and Wanda Nunley Chapman
Sister-in-law: Brenda Nunley (John), Dixie Nunley (James)
