Wanda Faye Moon

Wanda Faye Moon, age 70, of Jamestown, TN passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was the life partner of Sonny Carter and beloved mother of two children, Eric and Jessica.

Wanda was born August 3, 1954 to Georgia and Peanut Evans. She was born and raised in Pall Mall, Tennessee and later moved to Jamestown.

She is survived by her life partner, Sonny Carter, 1 son, Eric and wife Shanna; and 1 daughter Jessica and husband Michael; 1 sister, Sue Hatfield; and 1 brother, Kenny and wife Connie. She is also survived by 5 grandsons whom were her world; Raydaniel, Andrew, Timothy, Gunner, and Remington. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Georgia (Manis) Evans; father, Samuel (Peanut) Evans; and 2 brothers, Sam and Jim.

A Memorial Service will be held to honor her life at a later date.
