Mr. William C. Conatser

Age: 77 of Grimsley

Passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Spring Chapel Cemetery

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1 P.M. – 2 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church

He is survived by:

Wife: Alice Shelton Conatser

Son: Michael Conatser and wife Beth

Daughter: Lorna Sue Ferguson and husband Keith

Grandchildren: Danyelle Gooding and husband Stephen, Kenzie Conatser and fiancé Tracy Edwards, Bethany Conatser, and Avah Conatser

Great-Grandchildren: Addison, Gracie, and Ellee Gooding

Brother: Elliot Conatser and wife Nettie

Aunt: Martha Ford

A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends

He was preceded in death by:

Mother: Wilma Matthews Conatser

Father: Charles Conatser

Grandparents: Rosco and Mary Matthews & Thurman and Martha Ellen Conatser

William was such a kind and wonderful man with a heart of gold. I believe he is up in heaven playing pranks on everyone...some of my favorite cousin childhood memories were of him and Grandpa Matthews making jokes!

Lorna and Michael I know you love your Dad and will miss him but just remember he is in a better place where no cancer or evil can ever touch him again.

So very sorry Alice, Sue,Michael,  and all the family.  William was such a great Godly man.  So hard for family but Heaven just gained an Angel. Love and prayers John and Gail Hyder.
